Located on a significant site within the campus, ANU’s College of Engineering & Computer Science and the Mathematical Sciences Institute faculty is architecturally award-winning building. The building form references the University’s original Winston masterplan through alignment and form. Two wings connect in a central entry atrium in which a sculptural timber stair links five levels of contemporary collaborative and teaching spaces. The design provides an innovative hybrid of workplace, teaching and student hub, that supports collaboration between disciplines and encourages agile teamwork.

The Mechanical Services features of the build included roof level enclosed plant spaces and an open-air plant space, chilled water refrigeration system and air conditioning systems. The design and installation of services across this new building which included switch rooms, IT rooms, office, teaching spaces and End of Trip facilities servicing 5 levels of this workplace.
