The Belconnen Arts Centre Project involved the refurbishment of existing facilities which were built in 2009. The current project also involved the expansion of theatre spaces and galleries. The redevelopment provides the venue with additional functional areas and flexible seating and staging layouts suitable for theatre, gallery, functions and community events .
Working with the consultants Sainsbury was able to achieve efficiency of the heating and cooling systems across the project, whilst ensuring the clients requirements of noise mitigation with acoustic treatments of ductwork and systems.
